How to Watch
PGA Golf Live
Whether it's the weekly PGA Tour events, the Masters, or the US Open, golf broadcast rights are complex. Here is how to find every tee time.
TV Channels
Golf Channel
The primary home for early-round coverage (typically Thursday and Friday) of almost every PGA Tour event. It also carries extensive, exclusive coverage of the LPGA Tour, PGA Tour Champions, and Korn Ferry Tour.
CBS Sports / NBC Sports
Weekend afternoon coverage (Saturday and Sunday) for the majority of PGA Tour tournaments is split between CBS and NBC. CBS carries the majority of the schedule, including the high-profile Signature Events.
Streaming Services
ESPN+ (PGA Tour Live)
The absolute best value for golf fans. Offers live coverage from the first tee time in the morning until the TV broadcast begins. Features four distinct feeds: Main Feed, Featured Groups, Featured Holes, and Marquee Group.
Peacock
Simulstreams all NBC television broadcasts and provides exclusive early-round coverage for co-produced events and select majors like the US Open.
Paramount+
Carries the live simulcast feed of tournaments airing on CBS Sports. Requires the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME tier to watch live local CBS feeds.
Fubo / YouTube TV
Perfect for cord-cutters. These live TV platforms include Golf Channel, CBS, and NBC in their basic plans, ensuring you never miss a weekend broadcast.
How to Watch Golf's Four Major Tournaments
The four Majors are governed independently of the PGA Tour and have their own distinct broadcasting rights contracts:
- The Masters (April): Covered by **ESPN** (Thursday/Friday afternoon rounds) and **CBS** (Saturday/Sunday final rounds). Free live streaming of featured groups and Amen Corner is typically available on Masters.com.
- PGA Championship (May): Covered by **ESPN** and **ESPN+** for all four days, with CBS joining for the crucial weekend afternoon broadcasts.
- U.S. Open (June): Covered by **USA Network** (early/late coverage) and **NBC** (main afternoon windows). Live streaming is fully available via **Peacock**.
- The Open Championship (July): Covered by **USA Network** and **NBC**. Due to the timezone difference in the UK, broadcasts start extremely early in the morning in the US, with full streams on **Peacock**.
LIV Golf Broadcast Guide
LIV Golf tournaments follow a different format (54 holes, shotgun starts) and are televised separately. In the US, LIV Golf has an exclusive partnership with **The CW Network**. Friday rounds are streamed for free on the CW App, while Saturday and Sunday rounds air live on local CW television affiliates and the app. You can also watch tournaments globally on the **LIV Golf Plus** app and the LIV Golf YouTube channel.
